We wanted to do a tune that rested on a riff rather than chord changes and we worked on this song for absolutely ages, Lee in particular with all the lead guitar. In fact we worked on this song for so long that by the time we’d finished we were both thoroughly sick of it and never played it again. That said, there’s plenty of energy and fun in the song, we unfortunately just worked all of that out of ourselves at the time! It was a fun one to rediscover though; I think it scrubs up quite well after all the years on the shelf.
