JAMES: ‘Heavens Falling’ is the earliest song from the era of the two-piece Echotone that carried on over into the four-piece era when Mel and Paul joined the band. As such you can hear us performing it as a duo here but also live as a full band on Acoustic At The Castle (you can also hear an alternative version on Lee’s 2004 solo album The Leaves of Autumn Fall). I always liked it as a moodier, seasonal counterpoint to ‘Sun Dream’, which preceded it on the EP.
